Checking Your Bed Belt Tension

Checking your Belt Tension

There is a panel underneath your bed that holds the belt together. If that panel is loose, it can cause print shifting, and you’ll need to tighten it.

Turn off the Printer before you begin

To start, you can poke at that panel with a screwdriver to feel if it seems loose. It shouldn't move at all. If it does, you'll need to remove the 4 thumb screws circled in red holding the bed down so you can get underneath and tighten it.

See below for a photo of the bed of what it looks like when loose.

Panel for Checking Tension

See the middle panel & the thumbscrews you’ll need to remove to access it.

Ensure the Panel underneath the bed with the red arrow pointing to it is tightly secured to the bed. If you feel any movement from that piece, give it a quick tightening.

Reattach the bed and attempt another print. Let us know how the new print goes on the support ticket with a picture of the next print after 30 minutes.
