Checking Your Bed Belt Tension

Checking your Belt Tension

  • There is a panel underneath your bed that holds the belt together. That panel needs to be tightened as it can cause print shifting.

Turn off the Printer before you begin

  1. To start, Remove the 4 thumb screws circled in red holding the bed down so you can access underneath the bed.

  1. See the middle panel & the thumbscrews you’ll need to remove to access it.

  1. Ensure the Panel underneath the bed with the red arrow pointing to it is tightly secured to the bed. Give it a quick tightening, and not how many turns on each screw was necessary.

  1. Reattach the bed and start the Y-Motor Z-Offset test print in your "Off the Shelf" section of Print Control. Let us know how the new print went with a picture.
