Webcam Troubleshooting

If your webcam is not producing a video feed, try the troubleshooting steps below.

Power Cycle the Webcam after plugging it into another device

  1. Plug the Webcam into a laptop or computer (It's the smooth USB in the back of the kiosk, next to where the printer plugs in)
  2. Access the Camera App that's pre-installed on the laptop or computer.
Select the Swap Camera Icon on the Top Right if you aren't seeing a live feed from the webcam

  1. After seeing the camera feed, unplug the webcam from the laptop
  2. Unplug the power cable from the Kiosk
  3. Plug the Webcam into the middle USB port in the back left corner inside the kiosk
  4. Wait 10 seconds after plugging in the Webcam, then plug the Kiosk back in
  5. Wait 2 minutes and check if the Webcam has a Green light on it and a camera feed through FabOne

If you don't see the camera feed from the Computer, let us know through our support ticket and send us a picture of the camera feed. You should have an email from our Support Team.

  1. Try another Port

  • Attempt Step 1 again with a different USB Port in the back left corner inside the kiosk
  • If you don't see the Green Light, try the USB Port the Printer is plugged into.

If you don't see the Green light on the Webcam after completing step 2, let us know in our support ticket. You should have an email from our Support Team.
