Printer Connection Troubleshooting

With your printer not connecting to FabOne after attempting a power cycle, here are some additional steps to bring the printer back online.



The first step is to check the Internet Connector between the Kiosk's Computer and the Printer Itself



Unplug the kiosk's power cable
Unplug the internet cable from the back of the printer printer as shown in the image below
Follow the cable to the floor of the kiosk and unplug it
After waiting a few seconds, plug the printer's internet cable back in. Be sure to plug the USB End into the open port instead of its original port
Plug the kiosk's power cable back in
Check FabOne for the printer to connect
If the Printer is still offline, take a picture of the cable connected and proceed to Step 2

The Second Step is to check the Cables connected to the Computer inside of the kiosk



Unplug the Kiosk's power cable
Remove the Rear or Side panel of the kiosk, allowing for access into the lower portion of the kiosk
Unplug the USB connectors shown in the image below, there should be 3
Plug those USB Connectors back into the same ports they were originally connected to
Plug the kiosk's power cable back in
Check FabOne for the printer to connect
If FabOne connects to the printer, reattach the Rear/Side panel onto the kiosk.
If FabOne still isn't connected, leave the panel removed and take a picture of the USB Connections
